Bozeman Happenings - The Latest

The A-List Recommends

These days it seems as if "everyone" loves Bozeman. Somehow we've become an "It" town. This once sleepy college/cow town is now making a lot of top ten lists so it's hard to know what matters and what is fluff.

Bozeman, Montana - Bozeman BetaHere's you'll find news as reported by a Bozeman resident, not some dribble written by someone from who- knows-where armed with a thesaurus, an arsenal of clichés, and nauseating prose.

A reader of this blog once told me, "Your blog is great. If Bozeman does not have an official ambassador, then they should hire you." That's confirmation enough for me to become a self-titled Bozeman expert.

Here's what you need to know...

Restaurant Information

Bozeman is no longer a sleepy town where you visit every new restaurant within the first two weeks of opening. (And are bored with a month or so later) Now it can take months to get around to visiting a new place and some restaurants even come and go before you can check them out (Who remembers Barley and Vine?) Here are a few places I've written about on the blog:
  • El Camino - They've changed their menu since I did my review and now specialize in chicken. The retro décor and slushy machines still exist.
  • El Rodeo Taco Bus - One of Bozeman's original food trucks.
  • Best pizza in Bozeman - A taste test from a few years ago
What on earth is a sushi pub?! - Whatever it is, one is opening within walking distance of my house. This will be the tenth restaurant (Fourth in Bozeman) owned by the Blue Collar Restaurant Group out of Jackson Hole.
